Help Rebuild Sarge's Critical Care Fund

Sarge_Vet.jpg

Because the next emergency is never far away.

Sarge is a miracle. One of the rarest animals in the world—a geep (half goat, half sheep)—he survived against all odds thanks to the care made possible by you. Donations to Sarge’s Critical Care Fund allowed him to spend months under expert veterinary care at CHUV in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. Today, he’s back home, thriving, and living the life he was meant to have.

But Sarge wasn’t the only one who needed urgent help.

Over the past months, the Critical Care Fund has also covered unexpected and life-saving treatments for many other animals here at Penny Lane—each with their own story, each with their own fight to stay alive. With over 130 animals and birds in our care, veterinary bills are a constant challenge, and lately they’ve been higher than ever. The cost of Sarge’s treatment alone exceeded $17,000. Combined with other recent emergencies, the fund has now been almost completely depleted. And as anyone who cares for animals knows—when the next crisis hits, there’s no time to fundraise first.

That’s why we’re asking for your help today.
Whether it’s a small donation or a share of our story, you can ensure we’re ready when the next animal needs us most. Help us refill the Critical Care Fund, so we never have to say no to an animal in need.
From all of us—and from Sarge—thank you.
