🌿 Penny Lane Farm Sanctuary Wish List

Every day at Penny Lane Farm Sanctuary, our rescued animals rely on the kindness of friends like you. From feed and bedding to enrichment toys and cleaning supplies, each donation helps provide safety, comfort, and care for over 150 residents — from goats and cows to pigs, horses, cats, and birds.

If you’d like to help, please consider donating an item from our Wish List or contributing toward one of our ongoing needs. Every gift, large or small, makes a real difference.

🐴 Animal Feed & Nutrition

  1. Friskies Cat Food (we go through a lot, usually the boxed 24 cans (also available on Amazon.

  2. Rice and Pasta (also available on Amazon)

  3. Carrots, Apples, Romaine Lettuce (not iceberg), other types of greens

  4. Frozen corn, blueberries (Henry's favourite), cherries (Rita the goat loves these)

  5. Canned or frozen peas or corn.

  6. Mineral or plain salt blocks (available at any feed store, such as Ritchies Feed and Seed or Embrun Co-op)

  7. Bird seed (for our pigeons and pheasants)

 

🧺 Bedding & Comfort Items

  1. Straw bales for winter bedding

  2. Fleece blankets (for pigs and older animals). Not anything that has a fill inside.

  3. Towels (used but clean!)

  4. Cat beds or washable mats for the loft

 

🧹 Barn & Cleaning Supplies

  1. Barn brooms, rakes, and shovels

  2. Rubber gloves and scrubbing brushes

  3. Heavy-duty extension cords

  4. Paper towels, garbage bags, and blue recycle bags

  5. Disinfectant (F10, Rescue, or vinegar)

 

💊 Health & First Aid

  1. Vet wrap and gauze

  2. Saline solution

  3. Thermometers (animal-safe digital)

  4. Hoof trimmers 

  5. Epsom salts and iodine scrub

  6. Coconut oil or bag balm for skin care

 

🏠 Maintenance & Tools

  1. Zip ties

  2. Robertson wood screws (various sizes)

  3. Paint brushes and weatherproof paint

  4. Solar lights of any type

  5. Coop heaters

  6. Batteries (AA, AAA, D)

  7. Wheelbarrows!

  8. Sleds for winter (replaces wheelbarrows when the snow comes)!

 

🐷 Animal Enrichment & Toys

  1. Hard rubber dog toys (for pigs and goats)

  2. Hanging treat balls

  3. Brooms or brushes (goats love them as scratchers)

  4. Mirrors for birds and geese

  5. Treat puzzles for cats

  6. Kiddie pools (for summer duck and goose baths)

 

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Volunteer & Event Support

  1. Bottled water and vegan snacks for volunteers

  2. Gift cards for hardware, feed, or grocery stores

  3. Printing paper or poster board for event signage

  4. Folding tables and chairs for open houses

  5. Fairy lights or outdoor décor for fundraisers

  6. Gas cards (for feed pickup trips)

 

Alternative Wishlist Options

  1. Sponsor 1/4 of a large $60 hay bale through our donation option ($15.00)

  2. Donate towards our wishlist fund through our donation option, email us saying "For Wishlist fund"
