February board meeting: attended by only Larry, Nancy, Katia and Lucas. No opportunity to fully discuss what was on the prepared agenda. Quorum was met, proposals were approved without discussion. Problem with fitting the meeting into everyone's schedules. Asked in future that everyone indicate in advance whether they are going to attend or not (LB)
February 1-16: worked on and sent out first newsletter, created strategic plan, updated website to correspond with acceptable CRA wording, CRA application is progressing. Created a 90 day series of steps to rebrand the Sanctuary to appeal to a wider range of people (necessary when the Sanctuary becomes a charity). Created pdf/chart and forwarded it to all members for comments. Created blog, added some updates (Board Members can comment on a post, but can create a new post unless we upgrade to a more expensive Wix plan. Asked Lucas to run some of the CRA application issues through Perplexity. (LB)
