Suzie
Suzie, a female twin born on a dairy farm, faced a grim fate as female twins are infertile and of no use to a dairy. Ending up in a cult that sacrificed her brother, Suzie endured days of neglect until Karyn and Larry swiftly intervened. Now thriving in our sanctuary's barnyard, Suzie, alongside goats and sheep, has blossomed into a beautiful and beloved member of our animal family.

Bandit and Betzie, once pets that were left behind, found refuge at our farm. Initially at risk of auction or slaughter in their previous home, we welcomed them. To our surprise, both cows were pregnant. Thriving with incredible intelligence and maternal instincts, they continue to care for their three-year-old calves, Fern and Toby, who are now as large as their mothers.
Betzie

With vets far away, Karyn and Larry, guided by a FaceTime vet, delivered Toby. Their Swiss breed father influences their striking resemblance, with Fern embodying bravery and Toby expressing shyness. Unexpected yet beautiful, they've enriched our cow herd.
